Not every door is worth fixing, and we'll say so. If the door is from that same 1956-2009 window and you're now looking at a second spring failure, a cracked panel, and an opener on its last legs all at once, replacement usually costs less over the next few years than three separate repair calls.
Here's the honest limit: we don't stock every panel style for every door built since 1956. If your door is an older, less common model and a single panel is cracked, we may need to order the part, and depending on the manufacturer that can take longer than you'd like - sometimes longer than just replacing the section or the door. We'll tell you if that's the situation instead of quoting a repair we can't deliver quickly.
A good rule: if the repair bill is running close to half of what a new door would cost, or if you're fixing the same failure point twice in two years, it's time to talk replacement instead of another patch. We'll walk through both numbers with you before you decide anything - we're not going to talk you into a new door you don't need, but we're also not going to keep billing you for the same worn part.
